FDCs are not derived from the bone-marrow hematopoietic stem cell, but are of mesenchymal origin. FDCs express many B cell markers such as CD21, CD23 and CD35. FDCs involve in various infectious diseases such as AIDS and transmissible spongiform encephalitis. |
