It plays a criticalrole in the biosynthesis of complex glycosphingilipids, and cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions and in signaling events linked to cell differentiation, development, apoptosis and oncogenesis. In the immune system, CD17 involves in superoxide generation and also in neutrophil migration and phagocytosis. |
