Target Overview DDDDK-tag is actually a polypeptide protein, which can be added to the protein by DNA recombination technology. Its structure is compatible with the attached protein, and more hydrophilic than other common epitope tags. It can be completely removed from the purified fusion protein by enterokinase cleavage site. This tag can be used for many different analyses that require antibody recognition. Its small size and high hydrophilicity tend to reduce the possibility of interfering with protein expression, protein hydrolytic maturation, antigenicity and function.
